Equipolymers Announces Price Increase for Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Horgen, SWITZERLAND - April 23, 2007 – Equipolymers have announced a price increase
of Euro 80 per metric tonne for PET resins for the European market, effective May 1, 2007.
This increase by Equipolymers and its subsidiaries is necessary to cover raw material cost increases and
to restore margins. The increase of 80 Euros per metric tonne in Europe is for all LIGHTER™ PET Resins.
This price increase is effective on all deliveries from May 1st 2007.
PET demand is strong ahead of the Spring and Summer higher usage period.
