Equipolymers Announces Price Increase for Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Horgen, SWITZERLAND - January 30, 2007 – Supply for polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
resins remains challenging due to strong demand from resin converters and increased raw material prices.
Additionally, present PET prices do not allow for acceptable margins for Equipolymers.
Based on this situation, Equipolymers GmbH announces a price increase of 50 Euros per metric ton in
Europe for all LIGHTER™ PET Resins. This price increase is effective February 1, 2007.
PET demand is strong ahead of the Spring and Summer higher usage period.
